How does the door lock on a self storage unit?
When you hire storage with us, you will get given a secure padlock and two keys (take care of these as they are the only keys to the lock, we don’t keep a copy).
All of our storage units are fitted with lockboxes. When you close the door, you will need to reach into the lockbox with the padlock and fasten it under there. The lockbox provides an additional level of security, protecting the padlock from being tampered with.
