Day 11 – House movers!
We help lots of people with storage during house moves. It makes life so much simpler during what can be a stressful time. If you’re selling, it’s a lot easier to conduct tours and show people around your home if you have a serious declutter. Move the things you don’t need every day into self-storage. You can still access them easily, but you can keep your house clear and show-home ready.
Many people receive the keys to their new home on the same day they sell their house. It becomes a mad rush to get your house contents packed up and moved to the new place. By renting storage space, you can take your time packing things up before the move and store them. You can then move your boxes and unpack in your own time.
You may find that your new home doesn’t have as much storage as you are used to having. Don’t feel that you have to rush into a brutal cull of your belongings. You can store those things you don’t need constantly to hand, and take your time to consider what you want to keep.
